About Us

Catelyn Morningstar is a Brisbane-based children’s illustrator, mum of two boys and founder of the Wild Kids Club. Her goal is to create fun designs for kids clothing, that allow children to express themselves fully. She practices child centred design with children informing the theme of all of her new fabrics. Designs are based on the interests of Catelyn’s wonderful boys, and include her own hand-drawn watercolour illustrations, from Australian fauna to dinosaurs and unicorns.
As a 2022 business we are adopting best practice.

Choosing the best fabrics, prioritising organic materials and ethical manufacturing.
Our in house created artwork is digitally printed. Printing a water based Pigment Ink directly onto fabric which is bonded by heat and pressure to the fibre. Unlike many other forms of printing, digital and screen, with pigment ink there is no water and no waste ink during the printing process.

A Fine Arts graduate, Catelyn began designing and sewing 10 years ago in response to a lack of gender neutral clothing that was fun and functional.
Catelyn’s unique designs have been previously shortlisted for the QUT CEA Fashion Accelerator program, in recognition of the potential of her growing brand.

Catelyn is the previous owner and operator of the successful gogoECO children’s clothing brand, which was not only designed, but also manufactured in her own home. Catelyn’s new venture, WKC, takes gogoECO’s unique prints and fun offerings but has engaged an ethical and organic manufactuer to produce products available to wholesale as her operation has outgrown her tiny sewing room!
